HISTORICAL RECORD

What is a Historical Record?? A Historical Record consists of the capture of both visual and auditory elements that will be permanent in nature.

Once captured, a Historical Record will allow all future generations to revisit a moment in time even decades from when that time has passed.

A moment in time to witness a Grandmother or Grandfather who is no longer with us. An opportunity for both family and tribal members to appreciate and share a moment of community celebration together over multiple generations.

All Historical footage shall be shot in High Definition, ensuring every moment be captured in stunning detail.

There will be a minimum total, of a 30 camera setup with footage from a 4k broadcast quality high definition Aerial Drone along with a roaming high definition camera and time lapse 4k camera.

We do insist that the Tribe share in an equal 50/50 copyright ownership in all footage along with PowWow Spirit.

PowWow Spirit shall provide a complete copy of all raw footage to the tribe within 30 days completion of their community Pow Wow celebration.

PowWow Spirit agree that they shall not release any free publicly available full length video footage of the Pow Wow celebration for 24 months from the completion of the Pow Wow.

Both parties shall however have the right to develop and use any footage obtained at the Pow Wow for immediate commercial use.

It is important to PowWow Spirit that the tribe have the opportunity for it's tribal members and equally as important, the tribes school aged children an opportunity to utilize the raw footage to produce videos that can be released to the greater public on either a free or pay per view basis.

PowWow Spirit shall include one free livestream of the Pow Wow celebration to the Tribe which the tribe can decline to use.
